Jerry Guirguis caught up with me about my trip to Cairo on the Egyptian Radio Show, Australia. I was happy that I was on Australian time zone and doing an 830pm interview and not 8am from Cairo like last time where I mistook the call for my alarm clock and literally woke up on air!
We chat about the Cairo International Film Festival, some great Egyptian cinema, the fantastic Nana Loza who sadly just passed away (though she was 101 and had a good innings as my Aunt said) and the fun kids at DanZone to whom I taught the Shim Sham!
